24 Hour Adoration
Please prayerfully consider becoming an Adorer/Guardian.
Although we have filled the hours where adorers were needed we still are in need of adorers to ensure that the chapel can operate in a more effective manner. If you cannot commit to an hour each week but can help as a substitute please call Dan Digiulio at 860-742-1403.
For those who can commit to an hour even if an adorer is scheduled please call Dan Digiulio at 860-742-1403
or fill out the forms found on the Greeter stand and drop it in the collection basket or
send it to Dan Digiulio, 356 Talcott Hill Rd, Coventry, CT 06238.
We are in need of adorers for the following hours:
Sunday: 1:00 a.m., 2:00 a.m.
Monday: 3:00 a.m.
Saturday: 3:00 a.m., 4:00 a.m., 5:00 a.m.
Visit the Lord in that ‘heart to heart’contact that is Eucharistic Adoration. Day after day, you will receive new energy to help you to bring comfort to the suffering and peace to the world. Can you give Jesus one hour of your time each week in adoration?
“Your faith will help you realize that it is Jesus Himself who is present in the Blessed Sacrament, waiting for you and calling you to spend one special hour with Him each week”
--Pope John Paul II
A few comments from those who spend an hour with Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration:
- “I find,” said John a retiree, “that perpetual adoration is addictive. For me, that chapel is like a magnet.”
- “My adoration hour is a must. That’s where I get my priorities straight – at the feet of Jesus.”
- “I come on my lunch hour. It’s my daily date with the Lord.”
- “I drop in on my way to work to offer my day to Jesus.”
“Perpetual Adoration, Eucharistic Adoration offers to our people the opportunity to join those in religious life to pray for the salvation of the world, souls everywhere and peace on earth. We cannot underestimate the power of prayer and the difference it will make in our world.”
“The time you spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament…will help bring about everlasting peace on earth.” (Mother Teresa)
