WAIM Walk for Warmth
The annual Walk for Warmth to raise money for WAIM's fuel bank to assist local families with heating bills will be held Sunday, November 22nd. This year because of the pandemic the walk will be virtual. Fr. John and Patsy will be walking again this year to represent Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish. The need is significantly greater than in recent years because so many people are out of work or working reduced hours. Contributions to support Fr. All Souls Day Memorial Candles

All Souls Day Memorial Candles
St. Mary and St. Thomas Aquinas will again be offering Memorial candles to be lit for one week during the first week of November in remembrance of our departed loved ones. If you would like to purchase a candle your loved ones name will be placed on the candle. The candles are $10 and will remain lit in the church for the entire week. Please contact Eileen at St. Mary or Joyce at St. Thomas to purchase the candles.

Clothing Drive October 24th & 25th
Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish will be conducting a winter clothing drive to benefit Catholic Charities during the month of October. Catholic Charities is in need of NEW winter clothing, including jackets, hats, gloves, and mittens, for girls or boys, ages 0 thru 10 years old. Please do not donate any footwear. Collection boxes will be at the entrances to both St. Mary’s and St. Thomas churches thru the weekend of 10/24 and 10/25. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

The 2020 Public Square Rosary Crusade
There will be another Public Square Rosary Crusade, this time to support our police, to be held outside at St. Mary’s on Saturday, October 31st, starting at Noon. We will have to practice social distancing to stay safe. America desperately needs the Rosary, and Our Lady’s saving message of Fatima. Our Lady of Fatima asks US to pray the Rosary publicly even today. The daily increase in spiritual, moral, and economic problems desperately needs a divine solution. We are happy to introduce Mr. Devonn Pafume, our new Faith Formation Director. Devonn comes to us from the Diocese of Providence. With coursework at Providence College nourishing his hunger for the learning and teaching of the Catholic faith, he’s also been a catechist and served as a volunteer. Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish is hosting an Outdoor Craft Fair at St. Mary Church, 1600 Main Street, Coventry, on NEW DATE -  Sunday, October, 18th; 12 pm to 4 pm in the Church parking lot.
