Delivering Cheer Drive-By
Come! Join the fun from the safety for your car. On December 19th, (snow date, Dec. 20th, leaving after 10:30 a.m. Mass), Our Lady Queen Of Peace parishioners will form a motorcade at St. Mary Church at 10:45a.m. leaving at 11a.m. to head over to Orchard Hill Estates and bring Christmas cheer to the residents; honking our horns and waving to the residents. You can make a poster, decorate your car or just come and join in the fun! If you need more information, call Judy at 860-742-8412 (if no answer, leave a message and I’ll get back to you).

Upcoming Programs at Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center
Due to the pandemic, retreats are being offered online via Zoom. There are a variety of programs to choose from: Saturday retreats, which are in place of the traditional weekend; Evenings of Reflection; online Masses; and a Christmas Concert. As Christmas fast approaches in this year of uncertainty it is important that we try to keep precious the true meaning of the season. The birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. One program we are delighted to still be able to share is our annual “Keep Christ in Christmas” Poster Contest; it is open to all children in our parish from grades K through 8.
