Wreaths Across America will be laying wreaths at Coventry Cemetery, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Nathan Hale Cemetery, and Grant Hill Cemetery in Coventry with the help of the Boy Scouts. Donations, by check, of $15.00 each can be made to Coventry Cemetery Commission, 1712 Main St., Coventry Ct 06238. You can specify which cemetery and the veteran you wish to honor. TakeOut only French Meat Pie Dinner
The St. Jude Council will be hosting a Take-Out only French Meat Pie Dinner on Saturday, November 7th, from 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at St. Mary Church. The cost for the dinner is $10.00, and includes French Meat Pie, fresh vegetables, salad, and bread and butter. Beverages will not be provided. A table will be setup outside to take and deliver orders. Masks are required. Diocesan ProLife Mass
The monthly Diocesan ProLife Mass will take place at The Cathedral of St. Patrick in Norwich on Saturday, November 7 at 8:30 a.m. Please join our celebrant Rev. Ray Introvigne at Mass as we pray to end abortion and for the healing for those who have had an abortion. Following the Mass, the Rosary will be prayed both at the Cathedral and Planned Parenthood.

Leo Kouatly’s Eagle Project to benefit St. Mary
Our parish’s picnic tables need replacing. Leo Kouatly’s Eagle Project will be to purchase and construct new vinyl picnic tables. The new tables will replace our disintegrating wooden tables. The wood tables are unsound and rotting. Vinyl tables will improve the looks of the church grounds, match the fence at St. Mary’s, and can be used throughout the week by families as well as at church events. Bereavement Day of Prayer
The Diocesan Catholic Family Services Office is sponsoring a virtual workshop for the bereaved entitled: Praying Your Goodbyes on Saturday, November 21 from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. It will include time for private reflection, prayer and journaling and give participants suggestions on how to navigate the upcoming holidays and discover ways to grow through the experience of their loss.
