Public Square Rosary Rally

Saturday October 12th at 12:00 p.m. Please join us in saying the rosary with 20,000 other groups of participants across the United States as we celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the apparition of the blessed Mother at Fatima. We are asking for your prayers for America, to promote peace, end abortion worldwide. Both St. Mary and St. Thomas will be having this service for you choice of attendance. This will be a great opportunity for both churches to have a shared prayer service as we move forward as one parish.

Christmas Fair Small Raffle Table
Our Christmas Fair will be on November 8th and 9th. Your help is needed to donate items for this raffle. Items can be hand-made, gift baskets, gift cards or any item that new. Past items have included large dolls, decorative wreaths, watercolor paintings etc. The value of each raffle item is to be no less than $35 and not to exceed $100. The Diocese of Norwich invites grades 6-12 to Youth Explosion with host and song leader Cooper Ray. Spend the afternoon sharing your faith with teens from all over the Diocese. The event takes place on Saturday, November 2nd at St. Bernard’s School in Uncasville, the doors open at 12:30 p.m. and the cost is $25 for the day and includes snack. The Norwich 40 Days For-Life Campaign
The Norwich 40 Days For-Life Campaign will begin with a Vigil Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Tuesday, September 24, at 7 PM. Reverend Jeffery Ellis will be the Homilist. Hello! My name is Julia Thurston and I recently stepped into the position of Youth Group Leader at St. Mary’s in Coventry. I attend Eastern Connecticut State University and I’m going to school to become a high school math teacher.
