Blood Drive at St. Mary Church Monday, January 11, 2021 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The American Red Cross now faces a severe blood shortage due to an unprecedented number of blood drive cancellations during this coronavirus outbreak.
Go to redcross.org, put in the zip code 06238Coventry, then choose St. Mary and make your appointment today.
Walkins will be accepted also.
Donating blood is a safe process and people should not hesitate to give or receive blood. Right now, eligible and healthy donors are strongly urged to make an appointment to give soon.

Catholic Charities are in need of Toys for Birth to 12 years old and gift cards for Teens. (If anyone will be giving gift cards to please leave them with Eileen or Joyce. There will be boxes at both churches to collect the toys in but please do not leave the gift cards in the boxes; hand them to Eileen at St. Mary or Joyce at St. Thomas. The Mission of Catholic Charities is to provide service to people in need, to advocate for justice in social structures, and to call the entire church and other people of good will to do the same.

Come! Join the fun from the safety for your car. On December 19th, (snow date, Dec. 20th, leaving after 10:30 a.m. Mass), Our Lady Queen Of Peace parishioners will form a motorcade at St. Mary Church at 10:45a.m. leaving at 11a.m. to head over to Orchard Hill Estates and bring Christmas cheer to the residents; honking our horns and waving to the residents.

Due to the pandemic, retreats are being offered online via Zoom. There are a variety of programs to choose from: Saturday retreats, which are in place of the traditional weekend; Evenings of Reflection; online Masses; and a Christmas Concert.
