St. Jude Pot Luck
St. Jude Council Meeting and Pot Luck The St. Jude Council monthly meeting for December will be on Thursday, December 19th in the St. Mary Church hall. It is our annual Christmas potluck party. There will be a short business meeting at 6:00 PM followed by the potluck supper at 6:30 PM. Please bring your favorite appetizer, main dish, or desert. Coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and lemonade will be provided. All knights and your families are welcome to attend.

Pancake Breakfast with St. Nick!
The St. Jude Council will be hosting a pancake breakfast with St. Nick, and the Knights of Columbus Children's Christmas Party, on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM in the St. Mary Church Hall. All children and their parents from Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish are welcome. Kids eat free and the cost for adults is $5.00. There will be crafts, music, and a special guest. The Coventry Cemetery Commission is accepting donations for wreaths for veterans to be laid at the Wreaths Across America ceremony at Coventry Cemetery on Dec. 14, 2019 at 12:00p.m. Donations of $15.00, check made out to Wreaths Across America, can be sent to the Town of Coventry, Finance Dept., 1712 Main St., Coventry Ct.06238. The St. Mary/St. Thomas Giving Tree Program begins in just two weeks on the weekend of November 23/24, when you can pick up gift slips, make your purchases, and return them the following weekend, place them under the Christmas tree, and add an ornament. I attend Eastern Connecticut State University and I’m going to school to become a high school math teacher.
