WAIM Walk for Warmth

The annual Walk for Warmth to raise money for WAIM's fuel bank to assist local families with heating bills will be held Sunday, November 22nd. This year because of the pandemic the walk will be virtual. Fr. John and Patsy will be walking again this year to represent Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish. The need is significantly greater than in recent years because so many people are out of work or working reduced hours.

Contributions to support Fr. John can be mailed or dropped off at either parish office or can be dropped into the weekly collection. Please clearly mark the envelope “Walk for Warmth”. Please give prayerful consideration to contributing and/or participating as a walker to represent the parish. All money collected goes directly to local families in need.

Information is available on the WAIM website: www.waimct.ord, or contact Dick McKee, 860-477-0928,, for more information.

Please note: All checks should be made payable to WAIM Energy Assistance. P.S. Fr. John wants another trophy - so let’s win again!
